<\/a><\/h2>\nIt’s something I have been thinking about for a long time now and believe me, and it has been a very tough decision to do this.
\nAs life gets back to some sort of normality, I am getting increasingly busy.
\nAs a result, I am finding that I am getting less time to do some of the things that I really do need to get on with, or dedicate time to other things that I really enjoy doing.<\/p>\n
So something has to give. Well, it’s a few things really, and VAC is unfortunately one of those.<\/p>\n
I will really miss VAC, and interacting with you folks who have joined me over the past two and a bit years, which has made VAC a fantastic success.<\/p>\n
I really could not have done it without you all, and your support.<\/p>\n
I do feel I have made some very nice friends, without even meeting many of you in person yet.<\/p>\n
Also a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has presented to VAC, and everyone who kindly donated to make sure we were able to pay our invited speakers for giving up their valuable time.<\/p>\n
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO EVERYONE<\/strong><\/span> who has been a part of our shared VAC journey, which helped in part to get us through some difficult times.<\/p>\n I may consider some sort of astronomy online presence later, but will look at this towards the end of this year, or early next.<\/p>\n
