Below is a list of the astronomy conventions or meetings I know of that are organised in the UK.<\/p>\n

Bluedot Festival.<\/a>
\n<\/strong>This Festival, held at Jodrell Bank combines Astronomy Talks and Music.<\/p>\n

European Astrofest.<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Organised by Astronomy Now Magazine.
\nHeld in February at Kensington Town Hall.<\/p>\n

BAA Winchester Weekend.<\/strong><\/a>
\nAs well as the annual Winchester weekend, the BAA also organise other meetings throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Federation Of Astronomical Societies.<\/strong><\/a>
\nConventions are held at a different location each year, usually at a very reduced rate for FAS member societies.
\nThe 2025 event is on 31 May at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge.

Herstmonceux Astronomy Festival.<\/strong><\/a>
\nHeld at the Observatory Science Centre in Sussex in the autumn.<\/p>\n

International Astronomy Show.<\/strong><\/a>
\nHeld in the Midlands in October each year.<\/p>\n

North West Astronomy Festival.<\/strong><\/a>
\nThis astronomy festival will be held in Cheshire on October 24th & 25th in 2020.<\/p>\n

Practical Astronomy Show.<\/strong><\/a>
\nA free event, covering all aspects of practical astronomy.
\nHeld in Kettering, Northants in March.<\/p>\n

RAS National Astronomy Meeting.<\/a><\/strong>
\nSummer meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society.<\/p>\n

SAGAS Annual Convention.<\/strong><\/a>
\nOrganised by a group of societies south of London.<\/p>\n

Society for Popular Astronomy.<\/strong><\/a>
\nOrganise a Preston Montford Weekend Course as well as quarterly meetings in London.<\/p>\n

Solarfest.<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Gathering near Dublin all about the Sun.<\/p>\n

Solarsphere.<\/strong><\/a>
\nMusic And Astronomy Festival held near\u00a0Builth Wells in the Summer.<\/p>\n

South Downs Astronomy Festival.<\/strong><\/a>
\nA day of talks and trade stands on the South Downs.<\/p>\n

South West Astronomy Fair.<\/strong><\/a>
\nA day of talks and trade stands held at The Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth.<\/p>\n

Webb Deep Sky Society.<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Held alongside their AGM, trade stands and talks on deep sky objects.<\/p>\n
