The Webb Space Telescope is due to finally be launched in 2021.
Once launched, unfolded and in its correct orbit, it will be able to observe the Universe by detecting infra-red light.
I have put together this educational video to talk about infra-red light and how Webb will observe it.
This can be used following my visit to your school or as a completely separate lesson to introduce children to the Webb Space Telescope.
